Wild Cow spices up with Pepperfire-inspired sandwich

I’m not a vegan, but sometimes I eat like one, and it always bothers me when menus and products try to mimic meat. Case in point: Quorn (it’s not even corn!) brand Chik’n (It’s not chicken!) Nuggets (They even go to the trouble to make them look like disgusting fast food bitlets!).

“You don’t have to pretend to be meat to be cool with the carnivores,” I think to myself, sounding like a concerned parent talking to an awkward child trying to fit in.

“And your vegan friends should like you for who you are, but only if you are true to yourself.”
